About this object

The upright rectangular frame has an oval opening for a picture, which is edged by pearls. The background is engraved in an all-over design under a beautiful strawberry red translucent enamel. The border is carved in an interlaced design. The miniature is of Marjorie Post's daughter, Dina Merrill.
