About this object

The shape is that of a covered urn on a plinth. Around the upper part of the bowl are engraved garlands and rinceaux. On the lower part are engraved rinceaux and a row of leaves pointing upward. The foot has engraved swags of leaves, etc. and an engraved garland with ribbons. The cover has two engraved garlands with ribbons and on top the Imperial eagle. There is a separate liner.
