About this object

The shape is that of an urn. Around the widest part is a band of engraved and stippled decoration including both rosette and leaf shapes and underneath is a row of engraved leaves. The foot has an engraved garland with ribbons. The cover has an inverted row of leaves pointing downward and the Imperial eagle on top. The handle of the cover is on rim of cup.
