About this object

Pendant vanity case is shaped like a lady bug enamelled in natural colors. Head and forepart of the bug is enamelled black with gold antennae and diamonds eyes. Wings, outlined with a row of diamonds, are enamelled a reddish brown with black dots. Back is gold engraved with a series of curved lines. Back opens and is lined with a mirror while tha main part of the lady bug holds powder and a powder puff.
