About this object

Box is in dark blue translucent enamel over a guilloché sunburst pattern. In center of the lid an imperial crown tops the Cyrillic cipher of Alexandra Feodorovna, which is set in diamonds. At each side of the frame is a spray of lily of the valley in rose diamonds. Mountings are of red gold and centering in the border a leaf design carved in green gold. Sides have reeding in various combinations. Sunburst design on bottom of the box.
