About this object

The body of the perfume bottle is tear-shaped, flattened and scalloped in silhouette. It has a gold cap and a glass bottom. On one side of the glass is an oval medallion containing an engraved monogram. There are gold mounts at the top and on the cap are chased with interlaced motifs. The top of the cap is set with a bloodstone edged with small seed pearls, and rubies.
