Tours guided by volunteer docents offer knowledgeable perspectives on the collections, the interiors, and how this grand estate was used in Marjorie Post’s time.
Marjorie Post purchased Hillwood with the intent to leave it as a museum that would inspire and educate the public. Guided Mansion tours led by our trained volunteer docents treat visitors to additional information and viewpoints about Marjorie, her rich collections, and how they are experienced today very much as they were in Marjorie’s time.
Mansion tours are included in the suggested donation and can be reserved on a first-come first-served basis in the Visitor Center upon opening each day.
Each tour is approximately one hour long.
- Tuesdays - Saturdays at 11:30am and 1:30pm
- Select Sundays at 1:30pm
