Group Tours
Choose Hillwood for your next group trip to Washington, DC. A longstanding member of the ABA and NTA, we proudly and easily welcome group tours. Our free, ample parking for motor coaches, wide range of touring options, and delicious group dining all make Hillwood the perfect escape from the hustle of daily life.
Group Tour Options
Self guided tours
- Groups may select our 26-page printed tour booklet or various digital audio tours of the Mansion and gardens. By taking this self-guided tour option, groups may enjoy Hillwood at their leisure and allow time to view special exhibitions in the Dacha, tour the greenhouse, and find collections-related gifts in the Museum Shop.
Docent-led tours
- Groups may tour the Mansion and/or gardens with Hillwood’s docents (based on preset tour times, seasonal availability and advance arrangements). Guided tours last just over one hour.
Customized tours
- For an additional cost, Hillwood can create a unique tour for your group—focusing on specific items in the collection, in the gardens, or in a foreign language—at a time that is convenient for your group. Call 202.243.3914 today for further information.
Dining
For groups of 10 or more wishing to dine, please look over our Lunch and Afternoon Tea menus, and call 202.243.3914 to make your advance reservation. Please Note: A 50% deposit is required two weeks prior to your visit. Your reservation will be confirmed via phone or email once the deposit is received. Final payment is due five business days prior to your visit. Café space is based on availability.

Special Events
