Part of: Lectures and Talks, Mansion, Marjorie Merriweather Post
Marjorie Merriweather Post’s talent for collecting beautiful works of art extended to her clothing and accessories. Carefully curating her own collection of twentieth century attire, Post tailored her look by picking specific designers and exquisite garments throughout her life. Accompanying the exhibition Living Artfully, this talk by curator of costumes and textiles Howard Vincent Kurtz will focus on her daily routines and customs which established Marjorie Post’s unique art of dressing.
