Enjoy classic cinema, short films, and documentaries in the magnificent surroundings of Hillwood’s estate. 

Marjorie Post enjoyed entertaining guests with screenings of first-run films in her Pavilion. Her tradition of entertaining through film continues at Hillwood through the generous support of her youngest daughter, Hollywood actress Dina Merrill.

Annual screenings include:

• Les Lutins du Court Métrage—a selection of the best cutting-edge French short films as part of a week-long celebration led by Alliance Française de Washington in February
• DC Environmental Film Festival in March
• Family Movie Night, presented in association with Kids World Cinema, in April
• Divas Outdoors: Classic Films Under The Stars presented in partnership with One In Ten in June
• Films related to current exhibitions
