This space sets the tone for visiting the Hillwood Museum. Reminiscent of the imperial Russian style, Marjorie Merriweather Post decorated this two-story foyer with a mix of Russian and eighteenth-century French objects, including a grand array of state portraits of Russia’s tsars and tsarinas.
