Visitor Guidelines:

• Consume all food and drink in the café. Food and drink are prohibited in the gardens and mansion.
  
  
• Smoking is allowed in designated areas only.
  
  
• Visitors must be at least six (6) years old to tour the museum.  All ages are welcome in the gardens.  Adult supervision is required at all times.
  
  
• While touring the mansion and gardens, please turn wireless phones and pagers off or set them to vibrate.
  
  
• While you are in the mansion, umbrellas, coats, cameras, backpacks, strollers, and shopping bags must be checked at the attended coatroom located in the mansion's entry hall.
  
  
• Over time, natural oils on hands damage art objects. For this reason, we ask that you enjoy the art with your eyes and mind—but please don't touch.
  
  
• Photography and videotaping are allowed outdoors only.
  
  
• No pets (except service dogs) are permitted on the grounds.
  
  
• Stay on designated paths in the gardens. Please do not pick or gather any flowers or plants.
  
  
• Gardens constantly grow and change, and require daily maintenance to keep looking their best. We ask for your patience as our staff works in the gardens.
  
  
• For your safety, some paths in the garden may be closed to visitors during the winter.
