Restrooms
Accessible public restrooms
are located in the Visitor Center, Café, and the Mansion. Changing
stations are located in the Visitor Center restrooms.
Wheelchairs
Wheelchairs are available at the Visitor's Center on a first-come, first-served basis.
Assistive Listening Devices
Hillwood provides assistive listening devices for the orientation film,
programs, audio tours (neck loops are available), and guided tours. When
checking in at the information desk in the Visitor Center, please notify a
staff member if you need a device. Audio tours are also available in print
form upon request at the information desk in the Visitor Center.
Hillwood
provides interpreters for scheduled programs only. Interpreters are hired on
a case-by-case basis, so we require advance notice of requests. If you would
like to have a sign language, oral, or cued speech interpreter, please call
202.243.3933 no later than two weeks in advance of the program you plan to
attend.
Braille Information Guides and Large Print Brochures
Braille information guides and large print brochures are available upon
request at the information desk in the Visitor Center.
