The Japanese-style Garden at Hillwood reopened
in April 2002 after a year-long process to renovate the garden's waterworks
and restore its early appearance. This is one of the last remaining examples of the
type of oriental gardens influenced by the reintroduction of Japanese
culture to America in the 1950s. |
