Hillwood members share the secret of this special oasis in Washington, D.C. Use your membership to afford yourself a leisurely stroll of the gardens whenever a moment of serenity calls, to share the immersive experience with your friends and family, or learn and mingle with other Hillwood enthusiasts.
Whichever membership you choose, you will be able to visit the beautiful grounds and Mansion during regular hours as often as you like. No reservations are needed. You will also have free access to special exhibitions, a discount in the beloved Museum Shop, plus invitations to members-only events, guest passes, and much more.

Member benefits are offered at several levels:
Individual $50
- $40 tax deduction
- Guaranteed access for you and up to seven guests to the estate – without required reservations (groups of nine or more require a reservation to guarantee admission during our busiest times)
- Four guest passes per year
- Advance reservations for docent-led Mansion and Garden tours
- 10% discount in the Museum Shop
- Notices of Member-only study tours, garden tours, and special trips
- Invitations to Member-only events
- Discounts on programs open to the general public
Dual/Family $75
- All of the Individual benefits, plus:
- $55 tax deduction
- Membership for two or more people residing at the same address
Individual Contributor $100
- All of the Individual benefits, plus:
- $75 tax deduction
- Two additional guest passes per year (six total)
- Invitation to annual exhibition previews
Dual/Family Contributor $150
- All of the Contributor benefits, plus:
- $100 tax deduction
- Membership for two or more people residing at the same address
Patron $250
- All of Dual/Family Contributor benefits, plus:
- $200 tax deduction
- Four additional guest passes per year (ten total)
- Reciprocal admission privileges at over 400 museums and public gardens nationwide
- Free tickets to Hillwood lectures
Donor $500
- All of the Patron benefits, plus:
- $400 tax deduction
- 15% discount in the Museum Shop
- One complimentary Hillwood publication per year
- Invitations to exclusive events, previews, and receptions
- Name recognition in the annual report
Sponsor $1,000
- All of the Donor benefits, plus:
- Gift membership at the $75 Dual/Family level
- Name recognition on Hillwood’s Donor panel in the Visitors Center
- Invitation to an annual reception with curators hosted by the executive director
President’s Circle $2500
The President’s Circle is a group of generous members who support Hillwood at the highest level. In recognition of their support, insider experiences and exclusive privileges are granted at this level.
