GLBT Outreach
Hillwood's close association with the GLBT community arose over ten years ago. Beginning with the establishment of an advisory committee comprised of leaders from Washington's GLBT community in 2001, GLBT events now include the annual events Divas Outdoors and Gay Day and partnerships with the following organizations:
Alliance Française de Washington
Hillwood and Alliance Française work closely throughout the year on a variety of programs including films, family events, and lectures.
Families for Russian and Ukranian Adoption
Hillwood supports FRUA as a way to give back to Russian and Ukranian communities. Several education programs through out the year directly benefit from this partnership.
