This figurine was molded in a deep purple bakelite to depict Guanyin, the Buddhist goddess of mercy, wearing long billowing robes, a hood, and necklaces. She stands with her hands folded under her garment in front of her and bears the third eye of enlightenment in the center of her forehead. The figurine stands on a carved wood base.
