Portrait of Piotr Demidov (1740-1826) in half length with his face looking straight forward, seated at a table to the right where he points to a map with his left hand. He wears a blue coat with a lace jabot and cuffs and the ribbon with badge of the Russian Imperial Order of St. Anna and the star of the order (1802). The painting is after a portrait by Vladimir Borovikovsky.
