Portrait on paper glued to canvas. The portrait represents Colonel Serge Obolensky and was executed by Savelii Sorin in Yalta in 1917. Sitter is shown seated facing slightly to the left with his legs crossed and wearing a Russian wartime uniform, which is only sketched. Face and hands are almost finished. On his left breast appears the order of St. George the Holy Martyr.
