The Hillwood Archives

The purpose of the Hillwood Archives is to provide invaluable primary source material for scholarly and museum use. Material from the Hillwood Archives is often used for exhibitions, publicity, programming, and various external research projects.

The scope of the Hillwood Archives is focused on Marjorie Merrriweather Post and the museum she bequeathed to the public. In addition to the Marjorie Merriweather Post Collection, the Hillwood Archives holds collections created by her family, staff, and close friends and the institutional records of the Hillwood Estate, Museum & Gardens.

Researchers are invited to use the Hillwood Archives, Tuesday-Friday, 10am-5pm. While walk-ins are accepted, please consider making an appointment to gaurantee access to the archives.
